We're supporting a business that has recently completed a review of its data landscape and identified data quality as a key gap. Ownership of data quality is currently unclear, with inconsistent processes and limited tooling in place. You will take ownership of data quality across the organisation, working closely with business and technical teams to profile data, identify issues, and implement scalable quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage stakeholders across the business to gather data quality requirements
  • Assess current data quality issues and define profiling and remediation activities
  • Profile datasets to identify inconsistencies, errors, and gaps
  • Work with teams to understand data usage and define quality rules and standards
  • Implement data quality processes and governance frameworks
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Data Product, Platform, and Engineering teams
  • Support the evaluation and potential implementation of data quality tooling
  • Develop reporting and monitoring to track data quality improvements

Experience Required

  • Strong experience in data quality, data governance, or data management roles
  • Hands-on experience with data profiling and defining data quality rules
  • Experience working with data quality tools (e.g. Precisely, Informatica or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills; exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Good understanding of data warehouses and data ecosystems
  • Proven experience working in corporate environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements or change initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Precisely (DQ+)
  • Experience supporting tool selection or implementation processes
