Contract: Permanent
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent basis. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who genuinely wants to build a long-term career in accounting and finance. The role will provide full study support toward a professional accounting qualification, alongside hands-on experience across multiple areas of the finance function.
What makes this opportunity different is the exposure you will gain beyond traditional finance responsibilities. Alongside developing core accounting skills, you will be encouraged to identify opportunities to improve and automate processes across the team, with additional training and exposure provided in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
Initially, you will support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Management Accounts, learning the fundamentals of finance operations while supporting the wider team.
- Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Assisting with management accounts and month-end tasks
- Helping maintain accurate financial records and reporting
- Producing and handling reports using Excel
- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and operational tasks
- Learning different areas of the finance function over time, including payroll support and consolidations
- Developing strong technical and analytical skills through internal training and qualification support
Over time, the goal is for this person to become a well-rounded finance professional with exposure across the wider finance team. We are open to a range of backgrounds, but we are specifically looking for someone with a genuine interest in building a career in accounting and finance.
