The Role

  • Play a key role in shaping pricing and promotions decisions across the business, balancing long term strategic projects with fast paced commercial requests.
  • Lead pricing and promotions analysis to support business wide commercial decisions.
  • Analyse competitor pricing and recommend data led responses.
  • Deliver clear, impactful pricing performance insight to senior stakeholders.
  • Support pricing resets, optimisation initiatives and test and learn activity.
  • Apply advanced analytics including regression modelling and incrementality analysis.
  • Translate commercial questions into robust analytical approaches and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of AI enabled pricing analytics capability.
  • Work closely with pricing leadership and SLT facing teams.
  • Use SQL and Python to interrogate data and generate commercial insight.
  • Line manage and develop a junior analyst.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial and pricing analytics experience within fast paced environments.
  • Deep expertise in SQL and solid working knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with pricing analytics, pricing elasticity or promotional optimisation.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making.
  • Comfortable operating in visible teams where priorities can shift quickly.
