As Director of Data Science, you will take ownership of the organisation’s AI and decision science agenda, combining strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise. You will drive the development of intelligent decisioning solutions that optimise customer engagement, enhance product experiences, and unlock new opportunities for growth.
- Lead and expand the organisation’s decision science capability, with a focus on delivering personalised and data-driven customer experiences.
- Define and execute the strategy for applying machine learning and AI across customer communications, product recommendations, and behavioural interventions.
- Transform customer data, behavioural signals, and predictive insights into real-time decisioning frameworks and actionable outcomes.
- Oversee the design and development of internal AI-powered solutions, including copilots, productivity tools, and customer service applications.
- Drive the adoption of conversational AI technologies and large language model (LLM) powered customer interactions.
- Provide strong technical leadership through architectural guidance, code reviews, and active involvement in data science and machine learning initiatives.
- Develop and deliver a clear roadmap for advancing AI, machine learning, and decision intelligence capabilities over the first 6–12 months.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists.
