Forecasting Analyst (FTC) - until the end of April 2027 London (Hybrid, 3 days in office) Up to £55,000 + £3,000 Car Allowance + Completion Bonus This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing consumer business undergoing significant expansion across both retail and digital channels. Working within a highly commercial analytics function, you will play a key role in shaping sales, margin and trading decisions through high-quality forecasting and insight. They are a well-established consumer and retail business with a strong omnichannel presence, combining a growing store network with a successful e-commerce operation. The organisation is investing heavily in growth, creating an exciting environment where data-driven decision making is at the heart of commercial strategy. As a Forecasting Analyst, you will be responsible for sales and margin forecasting across retail and digital channels, partnering with stakeholders across trading, category management, finance, supply chain and business intelligence. Building sales forecasts at store, channel and business level to support commercial planning. Translating sales forecasts into operational demand requirements to support supply chain planning. Leading monthly forecasting reviews with senior stakeholders, communicating risks, opportunities and performance expectations. Delivering ad hoc commercial analysis to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions. Managing margin forecasting and providing insight into promotions, loyalty activity and trading performance. Partnering with BI and commercial teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimise trading outcomes. Supporting budgeting, reforecasting and financial planning processes in collaboration with finance teams. Strong experience in forecasting, merchandising, commercial analytics or a related discipline. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of key business performance metrics. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets. Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, finance and operational teams. Exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence commercial strategy. Fixed-term contract through to April 2027, providing long-term project exposure and career-enhancing experience.
