This is a rare opportunity for a senior credit risk leader to join a growing financial services business as Chief Credit Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of the credit function, influence business strategy, and play a key role in the organisation's continued growth.

The Role
- Lead credit risk across retail and wholesale lending portfolios
- Oversee credit strategy, credit modelling, underwriting, stress testing, and residual value risk
- Act as the accountable Senior Manager for the credit function under FCA regulations
- Manage senior leaders across credit risk, strategy, modelling, and residual value teams
- Partner with executive stakeholders to balance commercial growth and risk management
- Drive governance, portfolio performance, and regulatory oversight
Your Skills & Experience
- Experience operating at Head of, Director, Chief Credit Officer, or equivalent level
- Strong motor finance experience across retail and/or wholesale portfolios
- Broad credit risk expertise including strategy, underwriting, IFRS9, and portfolio management
- Understanding of residual value risk and key market drivers
- Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and governance frameworks
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and senior stakeholders
