The UK Data & AI Strategy team is scaling rapidly, supporting CDOs and senior leadership across major financial institutions on transformation at the board level.

The Role

This is a client-facing, high-ownership leadership role. As Principal Consultant, you’ll shape enterprise AI agendas, define governance strategies, and lead major transformation engagements with C-suite stakeholders. You’ll also play a key role in business development, contributing to pre-sales, proposal writing, and account growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy definition across GenAI governance, ethics, and AI compliance
  • Own executive-level workshops and stakeholder alignment
  • Shape operating models, use-case roadmaps, and investment narratives
  • Support revenue growth through BD, pre-sales, and proposal development
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal IP and methodologies

About You

  • 7+ years in consulting, strategy, or enterprise transformation
  • Proven business development experience (proposals, revenue targets)
  • Deep understanding of GenAI, governance frameworks, and regulatory context (e.g. EU AI Act)
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder influence skills
  • Background in financial services preferred; regulated industries also considered
  • Permanent track record (not open to contractors or short-tenure profiles)
