Business Intelligence Engineer:
Overview:
My client is currently looking to add a Business Intelligence Engineer to their current team. You will be joining an established team and will be tasked with developing reports in Power BI. You will need to be familiar with technologies such as: SQL, Power BI DAX, ETL processes, and automation tools to deliver actionable business intelligence and support decision-making. This is a permanent role based in London and is 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Modelling & Visualisation : Build scalable data models and create impactful Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaboration & Training : Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and lead training to increase Power BI proficiency across teams.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay current with BI tools and best practices to drive innovation and process improvement.
- Data Accuracy : Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and optimized for performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills : Expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query), SQL, data modelling, ETL/ELT (e.g., Python, DBT), and paginated reports.
