Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join a major UK retail organisation’s finance team, working closely with their analytics function to drive data storytelling, reporting automation, and self-service analytics adoption across the business.
The Role
Reporting to the BI Manager, you’ll collaborate with SQL engineers and finance stakeholders to deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards supporting four key areas:
- Operations – Stock levels across stores, warehouses, and tills
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to finance and operational functions
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualisations
- Utilise data storytelling to enable insight-driven decision-making
- Support the business in transitioning to self-service analytics, reducing ad-hoc reporting
- Contribute to the team’s shift toward a gold-standard Medallion Architecture
