A leading payments and financial services business in the automotive space are looking to continue to grow their data function, with a 2nd BI Developer hire within the past 6 months.
The Role
As a BI Developer, you will be:
- Optimising and maintaining Power BI models to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Reducing latency between Power BI and other data sources.
- Implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Analysing and executing the embedding of Power BI dashboards into applications.
- Develop clear documentation for models, reports, and measures for the development of the wider team.
- Build aggregate tables and views for reporting.
- Query and manage data from MySQL databases, writing complex joins, and subqueries, and optimising for performance.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a Power BI Developer role.
- Advanced DAX skills
- Strong understanding of Power Query
- Managing and optimisi ng Power BI data models.
