I'm partnering with one of the world's leading online marketplaces, currently investing heavily in Data & AI as they transform into a truly product-led organisation.
They're hiring a Product/Decision Scientist to join one of six cross‑functional product squads, working alongside Product Managers, Engineers and Designers to build customer‑facing features, influence commercial decisions and develop AI‑powered experiences.
Rather than sitting in a central analytics function, you'll own data within your squad, helping shape roadmap decisions from idea through to delivery and measuring the impact of what gets built.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering to solve commercial and customer problems.
- Lead experimentation, opportunity sizing and product performance analysis.
- Build recommendation models, segmentation solutions and AI‑powered product features.
- Develop lightweight data products, automation and proof‑of‑concepts.
- Apply ML and LLMs to improve customer experiences and internal workflows.
- Present clear, data‑driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years' experience in Data Science/Decision Science
- Strong SQL and Python.
- Experience with practical LLM/AI applications.
- Strong experimentation and A/B testing experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial thinking.
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
