This is a high impact BI Manager role for a commercially driven organisation where data and analytics sit at the heart of growth. You will take ownership of business intelligence, acting as the key link between markets, stakeholders, and engineering teams, with clear scope to shape BI standards and progress into leadership as the function scales.

The Company: They are a fast growing, private equity backed business that has invested heavily in digital, data, and analytics as core growth levers. Over recent years, they have built out strong data governance, analytics, and engineering capabilities and continue to report year on year growth. The data function is highly regarded internally and externally, with analytics viewed as a critical driver of future value across international markets.

The Role: You will be the senior BI specialist in the business, combining hands on delivery with strong stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with market teams to understand commercial plans, propositions, and reporting needs
  • Translating business requirements into scalable and well governed BI solutions
  • Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and backend engineering teams
  • Owning Power BI datasets, semantic models, and core metrics
  • Building and maintaining DAX measures and robust data models
  • Producing interim reporting directly from Databricks where required
  • Consolidating dashboards into a small number of standardised Power BI apps
  • Defining and enforcing a clear set of key metrics at market level

The role is split roughly 50 percent hands on BI development and 50 percent stakeholder and communication focused work.

Your Skills and Experience: To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong SQL capability, with confidence working across complex datasets
  • Deep Power BI experience including datasets, DAX, data modelling, and app deployment
  • Comfort working with Databricks and broader backend or ETL style data concepts
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain data clearly to both technical and non technical audiences
  • Confidence engaging directly with senior stakeholders and international markets
  • A balance of hands on delivery with ownership, influence, and accountability
