BI Data Analyst (Commercial/Finance Data)

Overview

This BI Data Analyst role focuses on commercial/finance data within a growing data & BI team. You will be responsible for delivering actionable insights through advanced data models, visualisations, and dashboards, and you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and support strategic decision-making. This is a permanent role based in London with hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver actionable insights through advanced data models, visualisations, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data quality and accurate reporting.
• Support strategic decision-making and contribute to the organisation\’s data landscape enhancements.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Proven experience analysing financial and economic datasets in a business environment.
• Proven experience working within financial services.
• Expertise in data cleaning, reconciliation, and investigation for accurate reporting.
• Strong project delivery skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
