The Role: As Product Director for Molecule Design, you will define and lead the product vision, strategy and delivery for a portfolio of AI powered scientific products. You will play a key role in scaling the UK product organisation and shaping how AI is embedded into scientific workflows.
- Setting the product vision and roadmap for molecule design tools and platforms.
- Building, hiring and mentoring a high performing UK based product team.
- Driving AI enabled product development across compound design, optimisation and evaluation.
- Partnering closely with scientific, engineering and data teams to deliver impactful products.
- Supporting organisational growth and restructuring by establishing clear product leadership.
- Ensuring products integrate effectively with complex scientific and molecular datasets.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience leading technical or platform product teams.
- A background in scientific environments such as pharma, biotech or drug discovery.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning or data driven products in production.
- The ability to operate credibly with scientists, engineers and senior stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring, managing or leading other product managers.
- A blend of strategic thinking and hands on product execution.
- An academic or professional background aligned to life sciences, computer science, chemistry or related fields, with experience outweighing formal qualifications.
