Overview

Our client is a leading audio streaming technology company, enabling global distribution and monetisation of live and on-demand content for major media networks, broadcasters, and government agencies. Delivering billions of listening hours annually, their intelligent infrastructure powers some of the most recognisable names in radio, podcasting, and live event broadcasting. They are now hiring a Linux DevOps Engineer to support a hybrid migration journey from on-premise data centres into AWS and to help maintain 24/7 streaming services at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Linux-based infrastructure across two UK data centres
  • Assist in migrating applications and services into a hybrid cloud environment (AWS)
  • Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) to manage environments
  • Help automate deployment pipelines and ensure system observability
  • Act as escalation point for infrastructure-related support tickets
  • Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams to support streaming platform uptime

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong Linux systems engineering and troubleshooting experience
  • Confident with IAC tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Understanding of hybrid environments (on-prem + AWS cloud)
  • Previous exposure to live production, broadcast, or 24/7 service environments
