We are working exclusively with a major global off-price retailer that is building a dedicated analytics capability within its finance function. This is a great opportunity for a Data Analyst with strong Power BI experience to join a new team and play a key role in improving reporting, insight, and data-led decision-making across the commercial side of the business.

The business is a large, international retail organisation with thousands of stores across multiple countries. In the UK and Europe, it operates across several major markets and has a strong presence in the off-price retail sector. The company already has multiple data teams across different areas of the business; this team sits within finance and partners closely with commercial stakeholders. The goal is to bring more structure, consistency, and insight to reporting across this part of the organisation.

As Data Analyst, you will work closely with finance and commercial teams to collate, analyse, and present data that supports business decisions. You will be responsible for building and improving Power BI reports, working with data models, engaging with stakeholders, and collaborating with internal data warehouse teams where needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Collating and analysing data for commercial and finance stakeholders
  • Working with data models to improve reporting quality and usability
  • Liaising with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
  • Supporting the creation of a more formalised analytics function
  • Working with internal data warehouse teams to access and structure data

We are looking for someone with:
