Job Description

Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days per week in LondonContract Length: 3 months (with potential to extend)IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Overview

We are seeking a Tableau Developer with a strong focus on front-end design, UI/UX, and data visualisation to support a strategic insights team within the real estate sector. The role will focus on building high-quality, visually engaging dashboards that help uncover insights from multiple data sources. You'll work directly with the Head of BI to translate ideas into polished Tableau dashboards that balance functionality with aesthetics, including geospatial and advanced visualisation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver visually rich Tableau dashboards, incorporating geospatial data, advanced graphics, and colour grading.
  • Create dashboards that are both functional and aesthetically impactful ("heart and science").
  • Optimise dashboards for clarity, performance, and usability with a quality-over-quantity mindset.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of BI, refining requirements and turning concepts into intuitive, polished outputs.
  • Apply modern design principles and Tableau best practices to enhance storytelling and insight delivery.
  • Support the transition from Power BI to Tableau by building out a new suite of dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in Tableau dashboard development, with strong front-end/UI skills.
  • Experience working with geospatial data and applying mapping/colour grading for impactful visualisation.
  • A strong eye for design, detail, and storytelling through data.
  • Ability to create dashboards without heavy stakeholder interaction-translating requirements from a small BI leadership team.
  • Familiarity with managing data from multiple sources (Excel and others).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment.
