STAFF AI ENGINEER £200,000 LONDON This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly scaling, PE-backed data platform business and take ownership of building a next-generation AI-native data layer. Working directly with the Group CTO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping both the technical direction and the future of their global data products. THE COMPANY This organisation is a global leader in B2B data and business intelligence, operating across 200+ countries and supporting industries such as fintech, compliance, and fraud prevention. Backed by private equity, the business is growing quickly through acquisitions and is building a unified data platform across multiple entities. This role sits at the heart of that transformation, offering the chance to influence platform architecture, drive AI adoption, and help scale a high-growth international business. THE ROLE Architect and deliver a centralised, AI-native data platform across multiple global datasets Build and scale high-performance data pipelines, APIs, and data services Deploy AI and automation to improve data quality, enrichment, and verification Work closely with the CTO on technical strategy, roadmap, and execution Lead technical due diligence on acquisitions and own post-acquisition integration plans Engage with senior leadership and investors, presenting architecture and strategy Start as a hands-on individual contributor with scope to build and lead a team YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 10+ years building production-grade systems at scale Background as a Staff/Principal Engineer, senior IC, or technical leader in a high-growth environment Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, SQL, and TypeScript Experience building large-scale data platforms, APIs, and distributed systems Proven ability to operate across architecture, delivery, and executive-level communication Desirable: experience with AI/LLM systems, data enrichment, B2B data products, or hybrid infrastructure environments SALARY AND BENEFITS £150,000 - £200,000 base salary Discretionary bonus Pension scheme Hybrid working model Potential for future equity participation HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest by sending your CV to Harry Lack through the 'Apply' link.
