Overview

Our client is a technology company delivering AI-first revenue optimization tools to the hospitality sector. Operating independently within a well-funded and fast-paced environment, they are now hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead their Platform team, responsible for the infrastructure and automation that powers advanced ML-driven pricing models used by hotels worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team Own and evolve the infrastructure that supports AI/ML predictions at scale Collaborate with Data Science teams to improve model deployment workflows Drive technical architecture to ensure platform performance and reliability Stay hands-on with Python, Kubernetes, and GCP Maintain high development standards, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines Work cross-functionally with product and science teams to deliver business value

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of engineering leadership, ideally in platform or infrastructure teams Strong technical foundation in cloud-native environments (GCP, Kubernetes) Proficient in Python, particularly within data science or ML contexts Ability to engage in technical discussion with Data Science teams Experience building scalable and resilient systems Hands-on technical leader who engineers look up to Strong communicator with a collaborative and proactive mindset
