Data Analyst – Subscription & Growth

Remote First

Up to £45,000

The Company:

The client is a well-known, multi-brand media group undergoing an exciting digital transformation. This particular role sits within their genealogy and family tree brand – a product-centred, subscription-based business that's investing heavily in experimentation and growth.

You'll be joining a collaborative data team of seven, reporting into the Head of Data Science & Insights. It's a supportive and cross-functional culture, with analysts embedded into squads and closely aligned with product and marketing.

The Role:You'll be at the heart of experimentation and insight generation, working to understand user behaviour and drive conversions – turning free users into paying customers.

  • Design and analyse A/B tests and experiments across features and functionality
  • Use SQL to deep dive into customer journeys and behavioural patterns
  • Build and share compelling data stories to drive action and decision making
  • Collaborate across product, marketing, and commercial teams
  • Help shape experimentation strategy to optimise user acquisition and retention

  • Experience in an analytical role, ideally within product or growth teams
  • Strong SQL skills – confident querying complex datasets
  • AB testing and experimentation experience
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments
  • Comfortable with data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI – they're open)
  • A passion for storytelling with data and driving measurable impact
