THE ROLE

As a Head of Data and Infrastructure you will act as a strategic client-facing technical leader responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end data platforms. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Running client workshops to understand complex, ambiguous challenges, translating requirements into clear technical strategies and architectural designs.
  • Ownership of data infrastructure, ETL pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Creating centralised, well-structured data environments from unstructured sources.
  • Advising clients on how to evolve towards predictive and machine learning capabilities.
  • Staying hands-on where needed while setting long-term technology direction.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Head of Data and Infrastructure will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong expertise across data engineering, data infrastructure and cloud-based architecture.
  • Proven capability designing and delivering end-to-end data platforms.
  • Hands on experience with ETL development, data modelling and data normalization.
  • Background in AWS environments and modern orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
  • Confidence leading client conversations, running workshops and defining solutions.
  • Experience within the music industry is a significant advantage.

BENEFITS

The successful Head of Data and Infrastructure will receive the following benefits:

  • Salary between £120,000 - £140,000 - depending on experience.
  • EMI scheme with option to trade salary for additional equity.
