Forecasting Analyst | FTC | Up to 55k baseThis organisation operates within a fast-paced omnichannel retail environment, serving customers across both physical and digital channels. They are investing heavily in data, analytics, and commercial planning to support continued growth and improve decision-making across the business. The RoleAs an Forecasting Analyst, you will take ownership of sales and margin forecasting across retail and e-commerce channels, partnering closely with commercial and operational stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain sales forecasts across retail stores and online channels
- Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting models to support trading performance
- Analyse trends in traffic, conversion, basket value, and sales performance
- Provide insight-led recommendations to optimise commercial and trading decisions
- Forecast margin performance and support promotional planning strategies
- Translate sales forecasts into operational demand requirements for wider business planning
- Present forecasts, risks, opportunities, and performance updates to senior stakeholders
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve forecasting accuracy
- Partner with teams across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and Category functions
Your Skills & Experience
- Forecasting, commercial analytics, merchandising, or planning experience
- Background within retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced experience working with large datasets and reporting tools
- Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience influencing business decisions through insight and analysis
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving commercial environment
