About the role
Digital Data Analyst role within a premium retail brand, focused on ecommerce performance and commercial insight. This role sits between the ecommerce and data teams, helping translate digital trading questions into clear, actionable insight.
The role
As a Digital Data Analyst, you'll work closely with ecommerce stakeholders to understand what's happening across the digital funnel and why. The focus is on analysis and problem solving rather than just reporting.
Day to day, you will:
- Analyse ecommerce performance across traffic, conversion and customer journeys
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards in Power BI
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support trading and marketing decisions
- Identify gaps in GA4 tracking and data quality
- Define tracking requirements and brief engineering teams
- Translate complex data into clear, commercial insight
Skills & experience
- Strong GA4 knowledge (events, parameters, ecommerce tracking)
- Experience using Power BI and working with data models
- Background in ecommerce or retail analytics
- Strong commercial mindset and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to investigate problems and explain insights clearly
