Lead Product Manager £90,000-£100,000Leeds (Hybrid – 3x Days a Week in Office)

Are you a digital product leader with a passion for audience insight and growth? This is an opportunity to take on a newly created role at the forefront of a major media organisation's digital transformation journey!

THE COMPANY

Join a recently centralised audience division, comprising of insight, data, and research functions brought together into a single, high-impact team at the heart of the business; their mission is to deliver independent, strategic insights that drive decision-making across product, streaming, and social, helping shape the future of how audiences engage with their content for this well-known media brand

THE ROLE

As the Lead Product Manager you will head up a pillar team of four Product Managers/Business Partners and act as the strategic link between senior product leaders and the wider insight function. You'll be a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, bringing clarity to business questions, challenging assumptions, and ensuring insight is embedded into key decisions

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Streaming & Social insight pillar, partnering with senior product and streaming leaders to influence digital growth
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, shaping briefs, and directing the right mix of research, analytics, and external expertise
  • Overseeing major strategic projects; from audience growth opportunities to premium product enhancements and trading funnel optimisation
  • Coaching and developing a team of Business Partners, upskilling them in effective business partnering and commercial impact
  • Acting as a thought leader on product and digital transformation, bringing an agile, commercial mindset to how insights drive performance

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

I'm looking for a confident and commercially minded leader who can bring:

  • Proven experience in digital product or streaming, ideally with exposure to agile delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to challenge and influence at C-suite level
  • A track record of delivering strategic insights that link audience behaviour to growth and revenue performance
  • Leadership experience: line management, coaching, and developing teams
  • Broad understanding of analytics, research, and data disciplines (hands-off, but able to direct cross-functional teams)
  • Media or content experience would be beneficial but not essential
