You will play a pivotal role in defining how enterprise data is structured, governed, and consumed, working at the intersection of business, engineering, and governance.

The Role and Deliverables
- Lead the design of enterprise logical and physical data models aligned to a single core ERP and wider business domains.
- Work through a defined backlog, breaking down high-level requirements into clear modelling deliverables and standards.
- Partner closely with data engineers to translate logical models into scalable physical implementations across the SQL, Databricks, and Fabric ecosystem.
- Define a repeatable, "cookie-cutter" approach to data modelling that can be extended across additional business areas.
- Collaborate with business analysts, governance, and data teams to establish modelling standards and best practices.
- Deliver a robust, extensible data model within the first six months that supports current reporting needs and future AI enablement.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience designing enterprise-level logical and physical data models within complex organisations.
- Ability to operate in early-stage or evolving data environments without heavy modelling tools, using pragmatic approaches.
- Experience working closely with data engineers, governance teams, and business stakeholders to align models to real-world use cases.
- Confident, proactive communicator who can challenge constructively, stand their ground when needed, and remain sensitive to different stakeholder perspectives.
- Self-starter mindset, able to take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them through to delivery.
