This start-up focuses on healthcare AI and is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. You will be joining a team of 45 people, including Data Scientists, ML Engineers and 2 Data Engineers.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Monitor, optimise and rebuild ETL / Delta Lake workflows in Databricks.
  • Migrate legacy ingestion jobs to modern, cloud-native patterns (Azure preferred, some AWS/GCP).
  • Collaborate with scientists to understand study goals, e.g., young mental health surveys, and shape the data architecture behind them.
  • Own slices of the backend and grow toward analytics, ML or architecture as you choose.

About you:

  • 2-3 years' experience (or outstanding grad projects) in data engineering.
  • Solid Python or R plus SQL; comfortable with Spark / Databricks.
  • STEM degree (CS, Math, Physics or similar).
  • Curious, collaborative.

Interview Process:

  • Technical interview with head of engineering.
  • Culture fit with CP and another data scientist.
  • CEO sign off chat.
