Overview
The business is investing heavily in its data capabilities, particularly across claims and pricing, with a focus on improving customer journey insights and building more robust data foundations.
You'll be joining a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy, working closely with a small team of analysts to enhance reporting, identify gaps, and improve how data is structured and used across the business.
Role Focus
- Support key initiatives across claims and pricing
- Improve data structures and pipelines to enable better downstream reporting and insights
- Analyse existing reports, identify gaps, and help enhance the reporting layer
- Work closely with analysts and wider data teams to deliver high-quality outputs
- Contribute to building a best-in-class pricing and performance data ecosystem
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership and autonomy
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and improve existing reporting (primarily Power BI)
- Work across the full BI lifecycle - data prep, ETL, and visualisation
- Identify data gaps and opportunities to enhance insight delivery
- Collaborate with analysts and technical teams to improve data pipelines
- Ensure data is structured and prepared effectively for reporting use cases
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to support business performance
Experience Required
- Strong experience in Power BI, SQL and Databricks
- End-to-end BI experience (data preparation, ETL, visualisation)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery
- Strong understanding of data processes and business context and value add
- Proactive and collaborative approach when working with teams
Desirable
- Python for data manipulation
- Experience in Insurance (preferred) or Financial Services
