The Customer Insight Analyst will play a key role in shaping customer and marketing strategies by translating behavioural data into commercial insight.
The Role
This is a hands-on role focusing on customer analytics, segmentation, and marketing performance. You will be responsible for building dashboards, analysing behavioural trends, and guiding strategic decisions across acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value. The role suits an analyst who is confident with SQL, data visualisation tools like Tableau, and who can bridge the gap between data and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver insight to support acquisition, retention, and growth strategies
- Build and maintain a scalable Single Customer View (SCV) combining CRM, transaction, and engagement data
- Develop segmentation models based on lifecycle stage, engagement, and behaviour
- Analyse campaign performance and customer trends to optimise marketing strategy
- Create dashboards and reports in Tableau to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
- Work closely with marketing, commercial, and data teams to drive cross-functional action
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and compliance
- Stay updated on trends in customer analytics, eCommerce, and digital health
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience using Tableau or a similar data visualisation tool
- Proven track record in customer analytics or marketing insight roles
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with campaign analysis, customer segmentation, and lifetime value modelling
- Commercial mindset with a focus on growth and retention
Desirable:
- Experience with GA4, BigQuery, or other advanced analytics tools
- Familiarity with churn, retention, or cross-sell modelling
- Background in healthcare, eCommerce, or subscription-based businesses
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Python
