Overview
The business is currently going through a wider transition across its reporting, analytics and data capability, moving towards a more efficient Microsoft/Power BI-led reporting stack with increased focus on automation and AI-driven systems. The current environment has a heavy reliance on offshore and third-party partners, with a number of processes and reporting workflows still operating manually. There is also a legacy QlikView estate that was originally planned for decommissioning last year, but remains business critical during the transition period.
Role Focus
- Own and maintain the existing QlikView reporting estate
- Act as the bridge between business users and external suppliers/offshore teams
- Support the ongoing transition from QlikView to the future reporting stack
- Enhance, maintain and troubleshoot QlikView reports and dashboards
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical/reporting solutions
- Challenge suppliers on delivery quality, technical approach and best practice
- Support migration and decommissioning activities across the reporting ecosystem
- Combine hands-on development capability with delivery coordination, analysis and light project management responsibilities
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on QlikView experience
- Experience working across both technical delivery and business-facing requirements gathering
- Strong stakeholder and supplier/vendor management skills
- Comfortable operating within legacy/on-prem environments whilst supporting modernisation programmes
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience supporting reporting migrations, decommissioning or transition programmes is highly beneficial
