Up to £50,000 Hybrid - Birmingham (1x day per week)
This role stands out for its balance of hands-on delivery and real business impact. You will play a key role in shaping trusted analytics products, influencing decision making across the organisation, and helping to build a scalable modern BI environment centred on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

The Role
- Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models used across the business
- Develop trusted KPIs and DAX measures aligned to consistent business definitions
- Own elements of the BI lifecycle from data preparation through to adoption
- Design and maintain scalable data models to support self-service analytics
- Monitor and optimise model and dataset performance
- Implement secure reporting solutions including role-based access
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics solutions
- Analyse data to identify trends and communicate insights clearly
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to align with platform and governance standards
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience delivering production-ready Power BI reports and dashboards
- Advanced DAX and strong data visualisation capability
- Strong SQL skills for data preparation and analysis
- Experience with data modelling and ETL or ELT processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or modern cloud data platforms
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive approach to improving standards, documentation and ways of working
