The Company

A leading UK retail business is investing heavily in its data function and is going through a significant period of growth across analytics and data engineering. The Customer Analyst will sit within the Customer & Digital Analytics function, working closely with the Ecommerce team to understand customer behaviour, online performance and opportunities to optimise the digital journey.

The Role
/n
This is a commercially focused Customer Analytics position rather than a dashboarding-only role; you'll act as a key analytical partner to the Ecommerce function, transforming business questions into analytical problems and using data to identify opportunities and improve customer and commercial performance.
/n
You'll work across areas including:
/n
/n
- Analysing customer behaviour and ecommerce performance
/n
- Understanding customer journeys and online behaviour
/n
- Investigating changes in basket value and conversion
/n
- Identifying underperforming products and categories
/n
- Analysing website funnels and customer journeys
/n
- Evaluating website changes and UX improvements
/n
- Measuring the commercial impact of data-driven decisions
/n
- Developing automated BI and self-service reporting
/n
- Building new analytical tools, reports and processes
/n
- Presenting complex analysis as clear, commercially focused recommendations
/n
/n
You'll work closely with senior Ecommerce and Marketing stakeholders, understanding their analytical requirements and helping shape strategic roadmaps.

Your Skills & Experience
/n
/n
- SQL/bigQuery experience
/n
- Exposure to GA4 is highly desirable
/n
/n
