VP OF ENTERPRISE DATA

This is a rare opportunity to join a business that has already invested heavily in its data, technology, and AI foundations. Rather than building from scratch, you'll focus on unlocking value, driving adoption, and creating a single vision across data, technology, architecture, and business systems. This role offers significant visibility, executive influence, and the opportunity to shape how data and AI drive business growth.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The VP of Enterprise Data will:
Define and deliver the enterprise-wide data, AI, and technology strategy
Lead teams across data engineering, analytics, architecture, IT, and business systems
Create a unified vision across technical and commercial stakeholders
Drive enterprise AI adoption, governance, and enablement initiatives
Establish a true 360-degree customer view across the organisation
Own data governance, reporting, analytics, and enterprise architecture standards
Use customer, product, and commercial data to improve business performance and decision-making
Identify high-impact opportunities to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders and business leaders
Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Make key decisions across technology, systems, and data investments
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong leadership experience across data, analytics, engineering, architecture, technology, or enterprise systems functions
A hands-on approach with the ability to challenge assumptions and engage in technical discussions when needed
Experience leading large, cross-functional teams within fast-paced, evolving environments
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link technology initiatives to measurable business outcomes
Experience delivering data, digital, or technology transformation programmes
A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change
