The Role
You will
- Analyse customer and user journeys to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to understand product usage, engagement, and conversion behaviour.
- Develop predictive models, including churn prediction, engagement scoring, demand forecasting, and propensity modelling.
- Build customer segments and behavioural cohorts to support product, marketing, and customer success initiatives.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
- Partner closely with engineering and data teams to define metrics and improve data models.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks for business stakeholders.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support the adoption of data-driven decision making across the organisation
- Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist, Product Data Scientist, Product Analyst, or similar analytics professional.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with cloud-based data warehouse environments.
- Strong Python or R capabilities for data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning.
- Experience building predictive models and applying analytical techniques to solve business problems.
- Understanding of customer journey analysis, funnel optimisation, retention analysis, and customer lifetime value metrics.
- Experience creating dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Experience working with modern data platforms and analytics engineering environments is beneficial.
