The Role As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance lending performance and create new opportunities for growth.Key responsibilities include:
Developing new lending propositions, customer segments, and distribution channels
Building and implementing innovative credit strategies and capabilities
Identifying opportunities to increase customer value through cross-sell and re-lending initiatives
Owning projects from concept through to implementation and operational handover
Assessing commercial viability through analysis, modelling, and performance tracking
Collaborating with Product, Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Risk teams to deliver business outcomes
Influencing stakeholders and driving initiatives without direct management responsibility
Taking accountability for measurable business impact and long-term success
Your Skills & Experience
Strong credit risk experience within a FinTech, consumer lending, or related lending environment
Advanced SQL skills and the ability to work independently with data
Python experience is desirable
Strong understanding of credit strategy, pricing, and lending economics
Experience developing new products, propositions, or lending initiatives
