A growing InsurTech business is looking for a hands-on Marketing Automation Engineer to join its team on a permanent, fully remote basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who sits comfortably between engineering, customer data and marketing, building the technical infrastructure that improves conversion, engagement and repeat business.
The role:
- Build and optimise automated email journeys and customer lifecycle campaigns
- Develop remarketing campaigns across Google, Microsoft and Meta
- Use customer and transaction data to create and manage audiences
- Build conversion tracking and advertising data feeds
- Develop API integrations and automated workflows using JavaScript/Node.js
- Work with BigQuery, Salesforce, AWS and affiliate integrations
- Monitor, troubleshoot and improve the reliability of marketing automations
- Work closely with marketing and engineering to turn commercial requirements into technical solutions
- Measure performance against customer and revenue outcomes
We're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience across marketing automation, customer data and technical integrations
- Good JavaScript/Node. xgikmsk js and API integration skills
- Strong SQL experience with CRM, customer or transaction data
- Experience with server-side conversion tracking and data feeds
- Experience building automated email journeys with conditional logic and personalisation
- Hands-on experience with remarketing platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising or Meta
- Good understanding of consent, privacy and unsubscribe requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate marketing requirements into technical solutions
Experience with BigQuery, Salesforce, SendGrid, Klaviyo, AWS Lambda or Impact would be advantageous, but you don't need to have used every platform.
Package: £75,000-£90,000 depending on experience
