The Role
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work closely with the founders and gain exposure to a wide range of data and AI projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysing large and complex datasets to uncover insights and business value
- Supporting the development of data pipelines and data engineering processes
- Working with proprietary client data to improve analytics and AI-driven outputs
- Contributing to Generative AI projects using modern LLM technologies
- Assisting with data labelling, model training, and experimentation
- Building reporting, visibility, and decision-support solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven outcomes
- Learning how AI can be applied across operational, compliance, and sustainability-focused use cases
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong academic background in a STEM subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Commercial experience working with data in a professional environment
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience using machine learning libraries through professional work, research, or personal projects
- Exposure to Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals and development best practices
