Ecommerce Digital Shelf Optimisation Lead
London | Outside IR35 | £250-350/day | 5 month Contract | 2-3x on site
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of AI, eCommerce and product content optimisation. You will help shape how products appear across emerging AI-powered shopping experiences, using data and insights to improve discoverability, search performance and commercial outcomes across global markets.

Operating across international markets, they are investing in AI-driven commerce capabilities to improve product discoverability, content effectiveness and digital shelf performance. Their specialist commerce team is focused on building scalable processes and tools that enable better customer experiences and stronger commercial results.
The Role and Deliverables
- Use Azoma insights to identify opportunities to improve product visibility within AI-powered commerce and search environments.
- Analyse how products are surfaced across retailer and AI shopping experiences, including conversational and recommendation-based search journeys.
- Translate Azoma recommendations into clear actions that improve product titles, descriptions and listing page content.
- Partner with eCommerce, content and product teams to prioritise and implement content optimisation initiatives.
- Measure the impact of content changes on discoverability, search visibility and commercial performance.
- Support the adoption of AI search optimisation best practices across markets and teams.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience using Azoma to analyse product discoverability, AI search performance or digital shelf opportunities.
- Background in eCommerce, digital commerce, SEO or product content optimisation.
- Experience leveraging data and insights to improve product listing pages and product detail pages.
- Understanding of how AI-powered search, recommendation engines and emerging commerce technologies influence product visibility.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into practical content and optimisation recommendations.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver content improvements at scale.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Consumer goods, retail or FMCG experience would be advantageous.
