We are seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to provide essential support to individuals within their own homes in Thetford and Norfolk area. This role is crucial in enabling our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Meal preparation and assistance with feeding, if required.
- Medication reminders and prompting.
- Light domestic duties relevant to the client's care plan.
- Accurate and timely documentation in line with company procedures.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
Requirements
- A caring and empathetic nature with excellent communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
- Must hold, or be willing to work towards, an NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (desirable, but not essential for application).
- Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (as travel between clients is required).
