Harmony Fire is one of the UK's leading fire and life safety contractors, delivering passive and active fire protection across residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments. Founded in 2016, we set out to raise the standard in an industry that had settled for mediocrity, and we haven't stopped pushing since. We hold a Two Star Outstanding Company to Work For accreditation from Best Companies, a reflection of the culture we've worked hard to build. We are passionate about making a difference and obsessed with quality. Our goal is to build a world where every resident can sleep safely at night, knowing their home is fully protected.

We now have an opportunity for a Consultancy Project Manager to join our growing consultancy division, based full-time at our Liverpool Street office.

Key Aspects of the Role
  • Take overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of all active consultancy projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Take full ownership of the consultancy's project management software, ensuring it is maintained, utilised effectively, and producing accurate departmental performance data.
  • Oversee project lifecycles from initiation through to completion, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies and implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Manage and schedule consultancy resources across all active projects, ensuring optimal utilisation based on capacity, skills, and project requirements.
  • Balance competing priorities and resolve resource conflicts effectively, working closely with consultants to monitor workload and maintain productivity.
  • Ensure all consultants remain on track with their key deliverables, intervening where performance deviates from the plan and supporting the removal of blockers.
  • Deliver structured tri‑weekly reporting to the consultancy management team (Monday morning briefing, mid‑week, and end‑of‑week report), covering project status, risks, resource allocation, and key achievements.
  • Escalate critical issues promptly and provide clear recommendations for resolution.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve project delivery processes, reporting frameworks, and resource management tools.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in project or programme management within a consultancy or professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing grip on the detail.
  • Experience in resource planning and utilisation management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver clear, consistent reporting to senior audiences.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, or similar).
  • Highly proactive with a solution‑focused mindset and strong problem‑solving instincts.
  • Commercially aware, with a focus on delivering genuine value to the consultancy function.
