Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial delivery of projects – to time and on budget, through effective valuations, forecasting revenue, managing handover, ensuring budget sufficient for works, controlling expenditure sign off including prelims, labour, subcontractors & suppliers, monitoring & tracking costs, protecting GP, owning purchasing decisions, signing off payment applications.
  • Identify and resolve with clients any variations.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience – ensuring the ‘Harmony experience’ is delivered through great communication, building positive relationships, resolving issues promptly.
  • People management – recruitment, onboarding/induction, addressing issues, ensuring the team is engaged and productive, team training and progression, manage performance.
  • Quality control – works are certifiable and compliant, and to an exceptional standard meeting expectations as set out by Harmony and the requirements of the client.
  • Process Management – adherence to all statutory and Harmony processes and procedures.
  • Health and safety – responsible for the implementation of the Harmony H&S policy.
  • External Supplier Management – management of costings, procurement of material and management of labour including sourcing subcontractors as appropriate.
  • Managing communication – clarity of communication with clients and regular, clear communication with the Pre-Con team and supply chain.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in construction project management.
  • Experience of running multiple projects to time and on budget.
  • BM Trada qualification desirable.
  • Excellent planning, budgeting and prioritisation skills.
  • First class written and verbal communication skills.
