Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial delivery of projects – to time and on budget, through effective valuations, forecasting revenue, managing handover, ensuring budget sufficient for works, controlling expenditure sign off including prelims, labour, subcontractors & suppliers, monitoring & tracking costs, protecting GP, owning purchasing decisions, signing off payment applications.
- Identify and resolve with clients any variations.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience – ensuring the ‘Harmony experience’ is delivered through great communication, building positive relationships, resolving issues promptly.
- People management – recruitment, onboarding/induction, addressing issues, ensuring the team is engaged and productive, team training and progression, manage performance.
- Quality control – works are certifiable and compliant, and to an exceptional standard meeting expectations as set out by Harmony and the requirements of the client.
- Process Management – adherence to all statutory and Harmony processes and procedures.
- Health and safety – responsible for the implementation of the Harmony H&S policy.
- External Supplier Management – management of costings, procurement of material and management of labour including sourcing subcontractors as appropriate.
- Managing communication – clarity of communication with clients and regular, clear communication with the Pre-Con team and supply chain.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in construction project management.
- Experience of running multiple projects to time and on budget.
- BM Trada qualification desirable.
- Excellent planning, budgeting and prioritisation skills.
- First class written and verbal communication skills.
