Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Colchester, Essex) £15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) Day/Night shifts available

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support our young adult client in Colchester. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own home. This is a meaningful 2:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.
About the Client
Our client is a young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder, an eating disorder, OCD and depression. Our client currently resides in an inpatient unit, however they will be transitioning to the community.
Clinical Requirements
- Staff should have specialist expertise in supporting individuals with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and co-morbid conditions
- Eating Disorders
- OCD
- Depression
Shifts Available
We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.
- Day shifts - (2:1): 07:00–23:00
- Night shifts - (2:1): 23:00–07:00
What the Role Involves
- Delivering compassionate 2:1 care in the client’s home
- Supporting with community access and social activities
- Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
- Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
- Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams
Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.
