We are currently seeking an organised, calm, and compassionate Care Co-ordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The Role
As a Care Co-ordinator, you will play a central role in the day-to-day running of our care service. You will take ownership of coordinating care packages, supporting care staff, and ensuring our clients receive a safe, reliable, and responsive service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating care rotas to ensure continuity, safety, and quality of care
- Matching carers to clients based on skills, availability, and individual needs
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, families, and care staff
- Responding calmly and effectively to changes, emergencies, and short-notice cover requirements
- Maintaining accurate care schedules and service records
- Working closely with the wider office team to support compliance and high standards of care
About You
- Previous experience in a care co-ordination or scheduling role (preferred)
- Experience working within health or social care
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions under pressure
- A professional, reliable, and proactive approach
- Confident IT skills, including the use of scheduling or care management systems
