As a Project Manager at Harmony Fire, you will take full ownership of passive fire protection contracts from handover through to completion. You will manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships, ensuring programmes are hit, quality standards are maintained, and projects are delivered safely and profitably. This is a hands-on delivery role on one of our flagship projects in the Dudley area. You will be on site regularly, solving problems, driving performance, and representing Harmony Fire at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project delivery from pre-construction handover through to final account
- Manage programmes, resources, and budgets across multiple sites simultaneously
- Build and maintain strong client and contract administrator relationships
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable site supervisors and operative teams
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with specification, drawings, and relevant fire stopping standards
- Carry out and oversee quality inspections, ensuring all installations meet third-party accreditation requirements
- Identify and manage variations, ensuring timely submission and agreement
- Produce and maintain accurate progress reports, risk registers, and programme updates
- Coordinate with the commercial team on valuations, applications, and final accounts
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on all sites
- Support the handover of completed works including O&M documentation and witness testing where required
About You
- Proven experience delivering passive fire protection or specialist subcontract works as a Project Manager
- Strong understanding of fire stopping systems, compartmentation, and relevant standards including BS 9999 and Approved Document B
- Commercially aware, with experience managing costs, variations, and subcontractor accounts
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Organised and methodical, with a track record of delivering projects on programme and to budget
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualified
- Full UK driving licence
