We are looking for a Residential Sprinkler Service Engineer to join our Service Delivery team, covering London & the South East or the Midlands. You will carry out planned and reactive servicing, maintenance, and inspection of residential sprinkler systems across our growing client portfolio — ensuring every system is compliant, functional, and properly documented.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of residential sprinkler systems in line with BS 9251 and relevant standards.
Inspect, test, and commission residential sprinkler installations, producing accurate and fully compliant service records and certification after every visit.
Diagnose and resolve system faults efficiently, minimising downtime and keeping clients and residents informed throughout.
Identify defects, remedial requirements, and upgrade opportunities, reporting findings clearly to the Service team.
Maintain your van stock, tools, and test equipment to the required standard at all times.
Liaise with clients, building managers, and residents professionally on site, representing Harmony’s brand with confidence.
Complete all job management system entries accurately and on time, including time logging, parts usage, and certification records.
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with Harmony’s H&S requirements and relevant site-specific rules.
Participate in the out-of-hours emergency callout rota as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

An A-player mindset — high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time.
Proven hands-on experience servicing and maintaining residential sprinkler systems, with strong working knowledge of BS 9251.
Experience carrying out inspections, testing, and commissioning of sprinkler installations and producing compliant service records.
Sound fault-finding and diagnostic skills across residential sprinkler systems.
Comfortable working independently across a regional patch, managing your own diary and travel schedule.
Strong attention to detail — accurate and thorough in service documentation and certification.
Professional and clear communicator — comfortable engaging with clients, building managers, and residents on site.
Full UK driving licence.
FIA, LPCB, or equivalent sprinkler industry qualification (preferable).
