We are looking for a Height Safety Service Engineer to join our Service Delivery team, covering London & the South East or the Midlands. You will carry out the inspection, maintenance, and certification of height safety systems across our growing client portfolio — ensuring every system is compliant, fit for purpose, and properly documented after every visit.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive inspections, maintenance, and servicing of height safety systems including horizontal lifelines, anchor points, fall arrest equipment, and rope access systems across London & SE and the Midlands.
Produce accurate inspection reports, certification documentation, and service records following every visit, ensuring all outputs meet the required technical and client standards.
Identify defects, remedial requirements, and upgrade opportunities, communicating findings clearly to clients and the Service team.
Carry out minor remedial works and component replacements as required.
Ensure all works are delivered in line with relevant standards, RAMS, and Harmony’s health and safety requirements.
Maintain your van stock, equipment, and PPE to the required standard at all times.
Liaise with clients professionally on site, representing Harmony’s brand with confidence.
Complete all job management system entries accurately and on time, including time logging, parts usage, and certification records. Participate in the out-of-hours emergency callout rota as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

An A-player mindset — high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time.
Proven hands-on experience with height safety systems including horizontal lifelines, anchor points, and fall arrest equipment.
Relevant height safety qualifications such as IRATA, IPAF, or equivalent. PASMA and working at height certification.
Experience producing compliant inspection reports and certification documentation.
Comfortable working independently across a regional patch, managing your own diary and travel schedule.
Strong attention to detail — accurate, thorough, and consistent in inspection and reporting.
Professional and clear communicator — comfortable engaging with clients on site.
Full UK driving licence.
Experience working across London & SE or the Midlands (preferable).
