We are passionate about getting things right and obsessed with quality. Our products are safety-critical β when a fire door fails, the consequences are real. Behind every great operation is a team that keeps everything running smoothly β and thatβs where you come in.
We are looking for an Executive & Facilities EA to provide high-quality executive support to our senior leadership team and take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of our Chesterfield factory. This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the business β keeping our leaders organised, our site well-run, and our office functioning at the standard SolidCor demands.
If you are proactive, highly organised, and take pride in doing things properly β this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive assistant support to the SolidCor leadership team β including diary management, meeting coordination, travel booking, correspondence, and preparation of documents and presentations.
- Act as the first point of contact for the leadership team, managing communications, screening requests, and ensuring senior leaders can focus on the priorities that matter most.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of the Chesterfield site β including coordinating maintenance, managing supplier relationships, overseeing cleaning and housekeeping standards, and ensuring the site is always well-presented and fit for purpose.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and consumables β ensuring the factory office and welfare areas are stocked, organised, and maintained.
- Coordinate health and safety administration for the site β including maintaining records, booking training, and supporting the management team with H&S compliance.
- Support the planning and delivery of internal events, company meetings, and visitors to site.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing, and document management across the leadership team.
- Support onboarding administration for new starters β ensuring inductions are coordinated and new team members have what they need from day one.
- Identify and implement improvements to how the office and facilities are run, bringing ideas that raise the standard across the site.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- An A-player mindset β high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time.
- Proven experience as an EA, PA, or Office Manager β ideally supporting a senior leadership team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills β able to manage competing priorities, multiple diaries, and a varied workload without dropping the ball.
- Excellent attention to detail β accurate, thorough, and consistent in everything you do.
- Clear and professional communicator β confident liaising with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and visitors at all levels.
- Proactive and self-motivated β comfortable identifying what needs doing and getting on with it without being asked.
- Experience managing facilities or office operations (preferable).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 β particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Chesterfield-based and available full time.
