The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

To provide care and assistance to service users in their home in accordance with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council Standards of Conduct and Practice 2015. Applicants must have access to a car for business purposes. A 35p per mile travel allowance is paid in addition to salary.

Responsibilities

  • To provide personal care and assistance in accordance with the NISCC Standards of Conduct and Practice 2015
  • Assisting with washing, showering, and personal hygiene
  • Helping with dressing and grooming
  • Supporting with mobility, such as getting in and out of bed or using mobility aids
  • Assisting with toileting
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Shopping and managing household supplies
  • Providing companionship to reduce loneliness and isolation
  • Reminding clients to take medication and assisting with administration
  • Following a personalised care plan for each client
  • Documenting care provided and reporting any concerns to a manager

Skills and Qualifications

  • Applicants must have good communication skills and access to a car for business purposes.
  • Experience in a caring environment or a health and social care qualification is desirable.
