About the Role
Harmony Care Provider Ltd is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to adults with Learning Disabilities in our Supported Living service at Cranham Lodge. This role involves supporting individuals to live independently, promoting their well-being, and enabling them to participate fully in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to service users, including personal care, daily living tasks, and promoting independence.
- Assist with housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and errands when required.
- Support service users with mobility needs, including safe moving and handling procedures.
- Assist individuals in accessing community activities, appointments, and services.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care/support plans.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in care or support work (Learning Disabilities experience preferred).
- A caring, empathetic, and patient approach.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Word).
- Willingness to travel to the work location; own transport or reliable travel arrangements are preferred.
