A warm and approachable family are seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their two children, aged 3 and 7 years. Duties are purely childcare-focused and will include supporting the children’s daily routines, preparing them for school and nursery in the mornings, and assisting with drop-offs and collections.
The role will involve creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where the children can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. The successful nanny will enjoy planning engaging activities both at home and outdoors, including playtime, walks in nature, attending local groups, arranging outings, and encouraging socialisation and confidence-building. During the school holidays, the nanny will also support more structured learning activities, alongside organising fun trips and activities.
Additional responsibilities will include preparing healthy meals for the children, supporting homework and downtime after school, and, on occasion, overseeing bath and bedtime routines. Most importantly, the family is looking for a kind, calm, and comforting presence who will become a valued part of their children’s lives.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must be a careful and confident driver, holding a full clean driving licence. Use of a vehicle during working hours may be available by negotiation. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny, 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Enhanced DBS, Level 3 Childcare preferred.

- Hours: Term time Monday – Friday 7:30am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 7:30pm; School holidays Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 7:30pm

- Pay: £18.00 Gross per hour / £32,292.00 approximate total Gross per annum.

Professional Requirements
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the update service), 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and a minimum of 2 professional references, one of which must be a current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. Recommendation for appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance).
